OTHER ACTIVITIES

BAHÍA FALSA

Oysters are cultivated here and some companies are known for their innovative production process. From Molino Viejo, the boat ride takes approx. 20 minutes and you’ll be in oyster paradise. You can enjoy the journey and live the experience of opening the oyster yourself and tasting the fresh products directlry from the bay. It’s without a doubt the best oyster in the state.

CAMALÚ

Visiting this place is worth it, just the landscapes are an experience by themselves. Once you arrive on the coast, you’ll be surprised by the huge cliffs, as well as inclined and rocky boulders.

LA LOBERA

One of Baja California’s natural gems; it’s a protected natural sanctuary where sea lions come to rest and reproduce. We recommend driving here on a 4 x 4 because parts of the road are rocky and narrow. You should drive with precaution, use the electricity posts as a reference to arrive to La Lobera. Other than observing these cute animals, La Lobera offers extremely beautiful panoramic views, which you can enjoy and create an unforgettable photo-op experience.

AVISTAMIENTO DE BALLENAS

Whale shark season in Bahia de los Angeles officially is from June to December. The whale shark is the biggest fish in the world and arrives at the waters of Reserva de la Biosfera Bahia de los Angeles, Canales de Ballenas and Salsipuedes.
It’s a productive area where shark and plankton are abundant. We recommend visiting tourism tours service provider companies for whale watching and swimming with the whale shark.

PLAYA EL PABELLÓN / ARENALES

It’s one of the most popular beaches in San Quintin.

OBSERVATORIO SAN PEDRO MÁRTIR

Near San Quintin you’ll find this incredible place, one of Baja California’s national parks, considered as such because of its important ecosystems, the great beauty of its landscapes, as well as emblematic flora and fauna. Whoever is interested, we recommend the following: take cash to pay for the entrance ($62.00 pesos per person), check your car, stock up on gasoline in the area known as Díaz Ordaz, take enough food and water for that day and wear something warm.

SIGUE "LA CUNA DEL SURF"

Ensenada is known as the place “where surf began in Baja”, in San Quintin there’s also places for this activity, Punta de San Jacinto and Picacho.
Playa Medano offers excellent beach breaks on the far north. We recommend coming here on a 4-wheel vehicle or a boat in order to reach the best surfing beaches.
Consider Cuatro Casas Hostal, El Playon, Playas de San Martin and Seven Sister.

VALLE DE LOS CIRIOS

Like Cataviña, you’ll find it on the road to El Rosario, San Quintin and Bahia de los Angeles. This beautiful desert is located between the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez, find desertic flatlands, mountains, ravines and river channels. There’s over 100 animal species and over 700 vegetables here.
