ALMAZARA COCINA DE RANCHO OLIVARES


Almazara comes from the Arabic meaning “place where you squeeze juice”, referencing olives. This restaurant is located facing beautiful landscapes and their own vineyard on the ranch. You’ll find pastas to delicious cuts of meat. Pair with a glass of regional wine.


 


 

LA COCINA DE DOÑA ESTHELA


The story is inspiring since Doña Esthela would sell burritos at her kids’ school, since then people recognized her seasoning and special flavor. Her breakfasts are truly exquisite; machaca con huevo, patended lamb, firewood baked bread and corn pancakes. You can’t miss out! The place was named as “The best breakfast in the world” in 2015 by “Foodie Hub Global Awards”.


 


 

EL ASADOR DE OLIVIA


Chef Giannina Gavaldon dedicates their time to always having the best ingredients of Ensenada and creating dished that locals recommend. The restaurant offers country food, located in El Porvenir at Valle de Guadalupe. Their specialty are cuts of bird, seafood and beef meat. Marinated with house wines. We recommend the tiradito de lengua with cacti salad and chicharron, as well as the qual wth mole rojo and plantaine pureé.

It’s one of the best Italian restaurants in Mexico. Chef Angelo is a descendant of a family involved in the kitchen and his knowledge stems from there, it’s obvious where he got his skills.

DECKMANS EN EL MOGOR


From the farm to your table, that’s the mission of this restaurant, without losing sight of their wine’s presence for a perfect pairing.
Everything taken to your table is produced at the Mogor ranch; their salt from San Felipe, cheeses from Valle de Guadalupe to Ojos Negros. Their meat is local and made responsibly. All is prepared on the spot and can be personalized according to dietary necessities or for vegetarian customers. Enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine while you wait for your dish. CORAZÓN DE TIERRA


Their chef Diego Hernandez creates a different menu everyday. Their ingredients are mainly from their orchard. Seasonal ingredients are used and supports local farmers of Ensenada, They offer a fixed 5 course menu. In 2014 their “radishes, espazote and ginger” desserts by baker Elsa Judith Olmos, won the “Best dessert in the world” award.


 


 

COCINA RUSA FAMILIA SAMARÍN


This restaurant was born from the culinary art inherited by Russian families, who arrived in Valle de Guadalupe during 1905. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as excellent drinks like: wine, coffee and drinks of the house. There’s local handmade products like: salsas, bread, cheeses, etc., which you can buy to go.


 


 

FINCA ALTOZANO


Country grill, it’s one of the favorites by the loves of the Valley. Here they only use regional products and ingredients from the orchards, oceans and close-by farms. They have a long list of regional wines and craft beer. Here you can also find delicious coffee from Das Cortez.
Chef Javier Plascencia will charm you with his dishes like the orchard risotto, handmade pasta, tacos grilles over firewood, local quail grilled on oak and you can’t forget to try their cornbread with ice cream dessert. The landscapes seen from here are a bonus.


 


 

LA ESPERANZA BAJA MED


Enjoy an authentic BajaMed experience at Valle de Guadlupe with cuisine by Chef Miguel Angel guerrero. La Esperanza is located inside the vineyards of L.A. Cetto, its restaurant has an open space style where you can enjoy a great view from a tableof your choice.
Try their grilled salmos, tacos or BajaMed burritos, the smoked Portobello mushrooms, among others. For Migul Angel, local products are the main star in his BajaMed dishes.


 


 

OCHENTO'S PIZZA


Enjoy one of the most popular food places of the Valley. The pizzas from Ochento’s are truly delicious, as well as their salads and pastas. Try their clam cream.
